Swedish police have raised concerns that private companies contracted to conduct drug searches in schools using detection dogs face training limitations that could undermine the legal reliability of their work. Adrian Wallin, a dog handler group leader with the Sörmland police, warned that because these dogs cannot practice with real drugs, the legal security of detection-based enforcement actions may be compromised.
