Romania's National Liberal Party (PNL) and the reformist Save Romania Union (USR) announced they will coordinate their parliamentary actions and align positions in upcoming presidential consultations following the collapse of the Liberal-led government. The two parties, which together hold the largest faction in Parliament, said they are rejecting what they characterized as a 'destructive' alliance between the Social Democratic Party (PSD) and the far-right Alliance for the Union of Romanians (AUR) that toppled Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan, and pledged to keep Romania's reform agenda on track during negotiations to form a new executive.
