The dollar began Wednesday with a fall against the Colombian peso , in the middle of a week marked by the expectation of the markets before the first presidential round on Sunday, May 31. The currency opened at $3,653.86, which represented a decrease of $9.39 compared to the previous Representative Market Rate (TRM), located at $3,667.06. During the first hours of trading, 2,149 transactions were made for an amount of US$1,269 million.
