Romanian government spokesperson Ioana Dogioiu defended the head of the Romanian Customs Authority, Mihai Savin, who was detained by prosecutors on charges of forgery and use of forgery in connection with travel orders. Dogioiu noted Savin's prior accomplishments and indicated reorganization efforts were underway.
