Russian authorities have approved a mechanism for private companies and enterprises to purchase large-caliber weapons to protect against air attacks, RBC learned. The approved list includes anti-aircraft artillery systems, turrets, radar equipment, and special transport, sources told the publication: "In order to promptly supply all necessary equipment to the mobile fire groups being formed, appropriate decisions were recently made at the state level." The equipment purchased by businesses will be immediately transferred to military units. Those units, in turn, will equip mobile fire groups with it.
