Romanian authorities, working with European partners, have dismantled a transnational network of Romanian, Moldovan, Ukrainian, Russian, Bulgarian, and Polish citizens who sold unauthorized supplement products across multiple EU countries since 2019. Prosecutors estimate the network caused hundreds of millions of euros in damage.
