Colombian authorities arrested Jesse Adonai Daza, a social media influencer, after discovering he was illegally keeping 30 endangered wild animals—including macaws, capybaras, jaguars, and howler monkeys—in inadequate cages and improvised structures at his farm in Puerto Asís, Putumayo. The animals were found in poor sanitary conditions without proper permits, and investigators determined Daza used them in video content while falsely promoting environmental conservation messages.
