Cybersecurity researchers have disclosed a Linux kernel vulnerability that went undetected for nine years. The flaw, tracked as CVE-2026-46333 with a CVSS score of 5.5, allows unprivileged local users to escalate privileges to root and execute arbitrary commands on default Linux installations.
