Former Senator Taj Afridi passed away in a car accident on M-1 Motorway near the Colonel Sher Khan Interchange on Friday. According to Motorway Police, Taj Afridi was traveling from Islamabad to Peshawar when his vehicle was involved in an accident. He died at the scene, while the driver sustained minor injuries.
