The first ever downing of a foreign drone in Latvian airspace on Monday, June 8th confirms the NATO alliance's determination to protect every centimetre of the country, Brigadier General Ilmārs Atis Lejiņš, Deputy Commander of NATO's Multinational Division "North", said on the Latvian Radio programme 'Krustpunktā' ('At the Crossroads').
