On May 7, the fifth meeting of the Intergovernmental Turkmen-Georgian Commission on Economic Cooperation was held in Ashgabat, the Foreign Ministry reports. The Turkmen side was headed by the Minister of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations of Turkmenistan Nazar Aghakhanov, and the Georgian side was headed by the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia Mariam Kvrivishvili. Particular attention was paid to the intensification of trade and economic relations, where transport, energy, and the oil and gas sector.
