In the period from January to May 2026, a total of 16,000 crimes were registered in Kyrgyzstan, representing a 13.5 percent increase compared to the same period last year. The data was reported by the National Statistical Committee of Kyrgyzstan with reference to the Prosecutor General’s Office of Kyrgyzstan.
