Over 100,000 people are calling for the recognition of civil partnership in Romania. A petition to this effect was submitted to Parliament on Wednesday, in support of legal recognition for unmarried couples. Supporters are urgently calling for the adoption of laws that would allow them to have rights that currently only spouses enjoy.
