Stihl, a German gardening equipment manufacturer, plans to expand its €125 million battery production facility in Oradea, Romania, which opened in October 2025. The company's chairman said the Romanian plant is now a strategic European hub for the company's ALLPRO battery system, with similar production facilities to be built in the United States and Asia under a 'local-for-local' strategy.
