MANCHESTER, Jamaica — A 48-hour curfew has been imposed in the troubled Manchester community of Greenvale following Saturday’s shooting of a resident. This despite the efforts of police in implementing social intervention programmes, including a football competition in the area. Operations Officer for Manchester Deputy Superintendent Valdin Amos confirmed that the nightly curfew started at 6:00 pm on Monday and will continue until 6:00 pm on Wednesday and includes Top Greenvale and Lower Greenvale.
