Israel's Finance and Transportation Ministers have approved $345 million in funding for the construction of bypass roads on Palestinian land in the occupied West Bank, according to a Palestinian settlement monitoring bureau. The allocation adds to $2.4 billion previously spent on 952 kilometers of such roads, infrastructure Palestinian groups characterize as enabling colonial settlement expansion.
