Colombia's imports grew 11.1% year-over-year to US$6.161 billion in March 2026, led by a 35.5% surge in Chinese goods—especially vehicles, fertilizers, and heavy machinery. China supplied 29.4% of all imports, followed by the United States at 21.5%. The trade deficit for the month narrowed to US$527.4 million from US$837.3 million a year earlier.
