Civil society organizations Cofavic and OVP have called for a transparent investigation into the death of Víctor Hugo Quero in Venezuelan custody and demanded the dismissal of the penitentiary minister. Alberto Arteaga Sánchez stated that the Attorney General has an inescapable obligation to investigate the case.
