The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development has appointed Grzegorz Zielinski as managing director for Southeast Europe, effective June 2026. Zielinski, a Polish national with 28 years at EBRD, will oversee the bank's operations across nine countries including the Western Balkans, Bulgaria, Romania, and Greece, succeeding retiring director Charlotte Ruhe.
