A New Jersey State Police sergeant from the Essex County Prosecutor's Office is accused of stealing more than $10,000 in camera equipment from a photographer who was injured during clashes outside an immigrant detention center in Newark. The photographer abandoned her bag during the commotion, and the sergeant allegedly took the equipment.
