A coalition of 15 social organizations across seven Latin American countries surveyed 1,229 women and girls to assess healthcare access ahead of the 2030 UN Sustainable Development Agenda deadline. The research found that 44% of respondents in Colombia lack health system affiliation, 56% report difficulty accessing mental health services, and 68% of adult women reported becoming pregnant before age 18—highlighting entrenched barriers to reproductive healthcare, preventive care, and family planning services, particularly among Venezuelan migrants and impoverished populations.
