Iranian authorities have expanded restrictions on the distribution of news content outside the country, the Associated Press reports. The Ministry of Culture, which supervises media activities, has sent a directive to foreign news agencies operating in Tehran, requiring them to include in “all submitted content, including photos, videos, reports and other media productions” a special clause prohibiting the use of materials by Israeli media. The directive is also aimed at tV channels broadcasting from abroad in Farsi.
