The Ministry of Digital Affairs of the Russian Federation has expanded the list of data that telecom operators will be required to share with the security forces through SORM . If the previous requirements, as the newspaper "Kommersant" wrote, were rather "framework", now the law enforcement agencies can demand information from operators up to passport and bank data. The security forces had access to such information before, but the innovations will speed up and simplify their work, experts interviewed by The Insider believe.
