An aircraft carrying the Venerable Belt of the Most Holy Theotokos, a Christian Orthodox relic, landed at Belgrade's Nikola Tesla Airport and was received by Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, Patriarch Porfirije of the Serbian Orthodox Church, and church officials.

On February 18, Patriarch Porfirije marked the fifth anniversary of the accession to the leadership of the Serbian Orthodox Church by temporarily dismissing Bishop Justin (Stefanović) of Žiče from the administration of the diocese. The final "execution" was left to the Assembly of Bishops of the Serbian Orthodox Church, whose May session under the patriarch's presidency is coming to an end.
