An Israeli strike hit a vehicle in the city of Tyre, south Lebanon on Monday, Lebanese state media reported, as Israel vowed to press attacks on Hezbollah despite Iranian warnings. Hezbollah meanwhile said it targeted Israeli troops in Lebanon, but did not claim any attacks on Israeli territory. Lebanon's state-run National News Agency (NNA) reported that "an enemy airstrike targeted a car with a missile in the city of Tyre, near the Lebanese Red Cross building".
Lebanese authorities raised the death toll to 3,270 and more than 9,800 injured from attacks carried out by the Israeli Army against its territory since March 2, a count that has continued to increase despite the ceasefire in effect since mid-April and extended on two occasions. The Lebanese Ministry of Health specified in a statement collected by the state news agency NNA that 3,269 people have died, including 126 healthcare professionals, and 9,840 have been injured as a result of these bombardments. Israeli forces continue to pummel southern Lebanon Israeli attacks have continued across southern Lebanon overnight and into Sunday, Lebanon's National News Agency (NNA) reported. The towns of al-Qatrani, Byblos and Rihan in the Jezzine district were struck overnight. In the Tyre district, Deir Kifa, Barashit and Chaqra were also targeted.
Israeli strikes kill seven in southern Lebanon Israeli strikes have killed at least seven people in southern Lebanon, including a child, according to Lebanon’s National News Agency. The agency said two people were killed and 10 others wounded when Israeli aircraft hit the municipality of al-Marwaniyah in the Sidon district. The toll from another Israeli attack near the Red Cross centre in Tyre has also risen to five, NNA reported.
