A 26-year-old man was arrested, a dozen gambling machines seized and more than $4,000 in cash recovered after Honolulu Police Department officers took down an illegal gambling operation in Kalihi.

Honolulu Police Department officers were justified to use deadly force when they fatally shot a 49-year-old felon who told his probation officer outside of The Queen’s Medical Center that he wanted to die on Oct. 2, the city prosecutor’s office has determined.
