Three journalists—Mohamed Bulbul, Abdihafid Nor Barre, and Abdishakur Mohamed Mohamud—were arrested and beaten by Somalia's counter-terrorism police in Mogadishu after reporting on a woman allegedly tortured in prison. They were detained Friday evening at a restaurant, interrogated, and released early Saturday morning. All three were reporting for The Guardian.
