ST THOMAS, Jamaica — A 4.4 magnitude earthquake was recorded in eastern Jamaica early Wednesday morning, according to the Earthquake Unit at the University of the West Indies (UWI). Preliminary reports indicate that the quake struck at approximately 3:20 am and was felt across sections of eastern Jamaica. The epicentre was located approximately 10 kilometres south of Albion, St Thomas.
