Although somewhat logical, the attacks directed at the television presenter who described the diversity of the Artemis 2 mission crew as "a man, a woman, and a black person" were hasty. The phrase is racist, of course, but that doesn't automatically imply the same judgment for the person who uttered it. The caveat may sound like an academic euphemism, but the clarification is timely when addressing racism in the country without resorting to cheap tactics.
