<p>A beige car is being sought in the hit-and-run death of a 36-year-old man late Thursday in the Auburn Gresham neighborhood.</p><p>Around 11 p.m., the man was standing in the 8700 block of South Ashland Avenue when a beige car hit him and left the scene, Chicago police said. </p><p>He was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn where he died, police said. </p><p>The Chicago police major accidents investigations unit is investigating.
