Colombia's Ministry of Cultures held a national meeting in Medellín bringing together hip-hop organizations from 16 departments to develop a policy framework for supporting hip-hop culture in the country. The initiative, called Operation Hip Hop, aims to create sustainable public funding and institutional recognition for grassroots cultural work that has historically operated informally in underserved communities.
