Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich declared on Tuesday, May 19 that a prosecutor at the International Criminal Court (ICC) had requested an arrest warrant against him, accusing the Palestinian Authority of being behind this move. Bezalel Smotrich indicated that his first retaliatory measure would target the Palestinian Bedouin community of Khan al-Ahmar, located east of Jerusalem, in the occupied West Bank.
