KARACHI: While inflation-hit Karachiites are already paying the highest price of flour in the country, the city administration’s decision to further increase the prices of various flour varieties by Rs4 to Rs15 has compounded their problems. As usual, the new price list of various essential items issued by the Commissioner of Karachi has provided no relief to the masses as retailers continue to defy the official rates. Retailers also maintained an old habit of not displaying the price list of commodities at their shops.
