A breath of fresh air came from Abidjan, the Ivorian economic capital, immersed in the 18th edition of FEMUA. The first major evening of the Anoumba music festival took place on Friday, May 1st, and continued late into the night. The evening was marked by concerts from two icons of African music: Fatoumata Diawara from Mali and Youssou N'Dour from Senegal.
