Shorter Intervals to Ease Pressure on Prague Metro B Prague’s busiest metro line could soon see a major improvement during peak hours, with transport officials preparing plans to increase the frequency of trains on Line B. The proposed changes aim to ease chronic overcrowding that has long defined the morning commute for thousands of passengers. According to the city’s Transport Service Plan for 2026–2030, trains on Line B may run every two minutes during the morning rush hour, a reduction from the current interval of roughly 140 seconds.
