Russian airstrikes on Kyiv have killed at least 24 people in what is described as the largest single attack on the Ukrainian capital since the full-scale war began, extending a bombardment that has lasted over 24 hours.

Russian military personnel were wounded during an incident at the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant in Ukraine, which Russia claims resulted from a Ukrainian ceasefire violation. IAEA chief Rafael Grossi called for maximum military restraint and respect for the ceasefire agreement his organization had helped establish around the facility.
