Brac Bank's ‘Digital Onboarding‘ to make it easier for small and medium businesses (SMEs) to open accounts has received a huge response from customers. SME entrepreneurs will be able to open business accounts within a few minutes due to this process, which was launched for the first time in the banking sector of Bangladesh. As a result, SME customers can easily and quickly open bank accounts and access banking services.

Romania's interim finance minister Alexandru Nazare announced plans to launch all schemes in the country's economic recovery package into public consultation by June and open investment calls later in 2025, targeting project operationalization by end-2026 or early 2027. The Ministry of Economy simultaneously unveiled the SME ECO-TECH programme with a RON 289 million budget to support manufacturing SMEs, with applications opening at month-end and an estimated impact of several hundred financed companies and 800+ job creations.
